Description
A Scoping Study is the first study that should be completed in a project, and represents a preliminary technical and economic evaluation that could include a Preliminary Assessment Statement (under National Instrument 43-101). It will define a resource and include a simple flow sheet and a description of the mining method. The resources (and, less frequently, the reserves) might be defined at this stage.
